Therapeutic effects:

Generic Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is a fluorquinolone antibiotic that exerts bactericidal effects against a wide variety of microorganisms including gram-negative and gram-positive. Bactericidal effects is achieved due to suppression the enzyme DNA-gyrase. DNA gyrase is a type II topoisomerase which is responsible for DNA replication and synthesis of cellular proteins.

Indications:

Generic Cipro is used to treat infections caused by sensitive to the medication microorganisms:

Respiratory tract infections
ENT infections
Urogenital system infections including gynecological infections
Infections of the gastrointestinal tract
Infections of the gall bladder and bile passages
Skin and soft tissue infections
